Tolkien's Neighbour

We’re making great progress! Survival Machines is nearly at 57% and when we get there I’ll crack open a tin of baked beans to celebrate. Who says writers aren’t rock and roll, hey?!

There have been a few exciting developments with Darwin’s Soldiers recently (watch this space!) and I have finished editing Survival Machines. I loved it! Bit of author’s bias maybe, but I reckon it’s another cracking read. As ever though, I’m pushing ahead and have started writing the final book (current title – Origin Wars) to make sure there’s nothing else I need to add to the second book.

It’s all been happening and this Saturday, I signed books at WHSmith, Sudbury, where fellow Team Darwin member, Sandy, helped enthuse the good people of Suffolk about Darwin’s Soldiers. It was a great day surrounded by books and chatting about science fiction and history! Who wouldn’t love that?

Now, as in other bookshops I’m sure, Darwin’s Soldiers is a proud neighbour to J.R.R. Tolkien’s inspirational books, soon to be joined by its sibling, Survival Machines.
