Survival Machines

Thank you all for supporting ‘Survival’ – we’re nearly a quarter of the way to being funded!

I’m cracking on with writing the book (the second in ‘The Origin Trilogy’) and having a great time expanding on John’s adventures, bringing in new characters and killing off some old ones! While the story has progressed and my research has delved deeper, I’ve been thinking about the book title and I’d love to know what you about a potential change from:

‘Survival Machines’

The new title still hints at Darwin’s ‘Survival of the Fittest’ but also references Richard Dawkins’ quote:

‘We are survival machines – robot vehicles blindly programmed to preserve the selfish molecules known as genes.’

I also think ‘Survival Machines’ has a satisfyingly ‘Sci-fi’ feel about it!

In the meantime, please spread the word about ‘Darwin’s Soldiers’ and – if you have time - leave a review on Amazon or Good Reads – every review helps!
