Looking to the future

Over the summer I’ll be writing some short stories from The Origin Trilogy universe, along with some shorts linked to my new book The Penguin Killer. I’ll send them out by email, so if you want to join in, just visit this link and add your email address:

Survival Machines is safely running through the well-oiled wheels and cogs of Unbound’s editorial and design processes, albeit slower than anticipated due to the impact of Coronavirus. In the meantime, the paperback of The Penguin Killer is now available if you would like a fast-paced whodunnit set in the Britpop summer of 1995?

There’s even a Spotify playlist to go with it, bringing together the songs named in each chapter:

But don’t worry, as you can see from the picture of The Origin Trilogy as Penguin Classics, John Greene and team are never far from my thoughts. The third and final instalment of the trilogy (Origin Wars) may be on ice but the cogs are always turning… the finale is going to be awesome!

If you’ve read Darwin’s Soldiers or The Penguin Killer, please leave a rating or a review on Amazon or Good Reads – it really does help future readers make their mind up about reading the book.

I’m not sure how it is for you, but time seems to be speeding up during lockdown and, as is the way, our planet has circumnavigated our star once more and the pollution from the candles I blow out each year increases to a level to rival China’s CO2 emissions. All I’ll say is… droopy drawers. :)
