Biennial celebrations

Yes, it’s hard to believe, but two whole years have passed since Darwin’s Soldiers was published and what a different world we live in now with Baby Yoda, face masks and life on Venus.

I have just signed off the typeset manuscript of Survival Machines, so we’ve taken another step forward towards publication. Next step, the cover! Thank you all for being patient - we will get there!

In the meantime, I have been busy writing a short story from the Darwin’s Soldiers timeframe which introduces you to a few peripheral characters who are likely to show up again in Survival Machines. I’m hoping to send it out soon to everyone who has signed up to my e-newsletter:

As with the past couple of years, I have a book in the Children in Read auction. This year it’s a signed copy of The Penguin Killer, with all proceeds going to Children in Need:

If you want a new read, I can highly recommend ‘Runners’ by M.A. Hunt, which has just come out on e-book (paperback to follow soon) for anyone into Urban Fantasy with a twist of horror:

For a bit of time-travel, check out this free short story – ‘The Paradox Journals Prequel’ by K.D.Mack:

And something for the Fantasy readers – ‘Glimpses of Time and Magic: A Historical Fantasy Anthology’ by Ariel Paiement:

Here are a set of great reads for Autumn – all available on Kindle Unlimited:

And some super-hero books for anyone hoping to escape 2020 and learn new skills:
