Thanks for the support - the nineties were better
Hello there lovely people! Just a quick message to say thanks to all of you who have been kind enough to support my book so far. As you know, book people would quite often happily retreat into a hole rather than shouting about their work. There is always a part of us that is nervous about revealing too much from the realms inside, even though we are weirdly compelled to write about it but having you people on board makes it all seem much more important that I get the story out there.
After all, the story of Toots and her crazy shenanigans is a riot and something that is so much fun to write about should be good for laughs to read too. The nineties were better, remember. Trust me...
...And if you don't trust me, trust the words of Johnny Marr https://twitter.com/Johnny_Marr, who together with New Order's Stephen Morris and Paul Weller are featured on the Charlatans new album coming out May 26. If Ed Sheeran is the best this generation has got to offer, best to keep those tunes coming in lads...
