Foreword by HRH The Princess Royal
Fantastic news this week - we reached the funding target on Tuesday and today I received wonderful news: HRH Anne, The Princess Royal, has very kindly written a foreword for Stranger In My Heart. We have some connections - she is Patron of the British School of Osteopathy and has so far presented me with two degrees and a prize. She is also President of the Riding for the Disabled Association and my Dad was one of the founders. We had kids from the School for the Blind in Condover, Shropshire, come to the farm and ride our ponies back in the '60s and '70s - I think Dad understood about the importance of liberation from disability as much as liberation from incarceration. I will be giving a share of the proceeds from my book to the RDA, which adds to my intention of honouring my Dad.
