Springfield Road audio book is available now!

Hello you beautiful Unbounders,

How are you all? Now golden autumn has arrived and the Springfield Road audio book has arrived too! Attached to this shed post a short audio sample to whet your appetite: Chapter 49 / Eulogy. A poem for my grandmother Nanny and also fittingly a poem for Black History month too. If you'd like to hear more I posted a different autumnal sample on my Mixcloud click here

It has been a year since the book has been published!

Happy birthday Springfield Road!

Thank you for all your kind words, gorgeous amazon reviews and twitter mentions. I posted some highlights at the latest Waiting For Godden www.salenagodden.com Lately I've been really feeling the end of the summer crashing about me...I blame the supermoon!

Here's some lines from my latest blog:

Earlier this month I was interviewed by Garry Bushell for his GBH show on Litopia.

Click here: Garry Bushell on Litopia.

It was a lovely and lively hour, chatting about books and poetry and music.

This week you might have seen a glimpse of me on your television, I was topping and tailing the BBC4 'Rhymes, Rock and Revolution' documentary The poem the BBC used was 'Tick No Box' - It was filmed at Poetry Reincarnation at The Roundhouse, Camden.

I'm thrilled to be down in Hastings on November 11th ... I love going home so much. I'm speaking at the Hastings Story Telling Festival. Lots of top writers including David Walliams and Will Self, its gonna be a good one! See you in Hastings...

Keep fighting the good fight,

Salena Godden
