One year since Song became fully funded
Dear all,
Happy New Year, if it's not too late at the end of January.
It's been a while since my last update because there's not been a whole lot going on. Corrections were being incorporated. Jacket art was finalised (see attached -- although the tagline will change). What do you think? I hope you like it. We're now plotting a marketing plan. Backers should receive their copy of Song in May. There'll be a party! The publishing date for the trade is June 28th. After that date, the novel will be in the bookshops. I hope to do some bookshop talks, some festivals, some press. Fingers crossed.
The main reason I'm writing is because I just noticed the date today and realised it's been a year since the day I saw "100% funded" flick up on my screen. I wanted to say thank you again. A year on, thank you.
More soon.

Looking forward to having my long awaited copy of Song. Congratulations on your hard work. The cover is so beautiful. I hope your tour schedule includes a visit to NC.

Thank you all for your lovely messages...
Simon -- the illustration is by Aitch H. Love his name as much as his penwork!
