Small is Powerful: What next?

So the manuscript is in and being copy edited. I can't deny it's been very hard work and taken a lot longer than expected. I have discovered that combining the writing of a book with a full time job (changing full time jobs, in fact) while being Dad to a young family is not something to be taken on lightly. Who knew?

Anyway now I am free of the drafting and looking forward to publication later this year, I will spend more time writing short pieces about the books arguments and posting stuff in this 'shed'.

To kick off, here are links to a couple of posts I wrote elsewhere which give a flavour of what Small is Powerful is arguing. As ever any feedback is hugely appreciated. And, of course, if you like what you see, please do promote the posts on social media etc.

Here's a piece that gets as close as possible to summarising the book's overall perspective in a few hundred words.

This one makes the argument that we need to challenge inequality by empowering people rather than building a bigger state: a key argument in the book.

Hope you like them.
