Ring The Hill
By Tom Cox
A book about hills. Actually, that’s not true. It’s a book around hills: the magical names we have given hills over the centuries, the legends associated with them, the history hidden in their folds, the exhilarated feeling you get when you’ve walked at pace to the top of one on a crisp autumn day, the perspective they give us on the land, on life.

Sneak art preview from Ring The Hill - and an important deadline!
Hi everyone! Thanks again for your support on Ring The Hill. I thought you might like to know that I am delivering my final edit of the book tomorrow morning, and perhaps like to see one of my mum's linoprints for the book (she has done thirteen in total, and the attached is possibly my favourite).
Also, in case you didn't know, for anyone who hasn't pledged yet, the deadline for getting your name printed in the back of the book as a supporter is midnight on June 16th, so now is the time to tell any pals or relatives you think might be interested in the book. Pledges can also be upgraded by contacting Unbound. If/when we reach 200% funded, I'll be posting a small sneak excerpt from the book, just for supporters.
I've done a little "ten facts about" thing for the book on my website today in case you'd like a read: http://tom-cox.com/writing/ten-facts-about-my-new-book/ There's lots of other new writing to read on the site too.
All the best,
Tom
