Update #5: Over 60% funded! Whoop!
This week, the project has tipped over 60% funded which is BRILLIANT. Again, thanks a million, and keep spreading the word. I really appreciate it.
Production-wise, the anthology is motoring along well. I've a bunch of contributors in place, including the amazing SINEAD GLEESON and LISA MCINERNEY who are contributing original pieces of writing to the anthology.
You will know Sinead from being a general badass, amazing writer, and from her two excellent anthologies The Long Gaze Back: An Anthology of Women Writers and The Glass Shore: Short Stories by Women from the North of Ireland.
Lisa is an absolute boss, and of course won the 2016 Baileys Women's Prize for Fiction and the 2016 Desmond Elliott Prize for her brilliant book The Glorious Heresies. She's got a new one out next month, The Blood Miracles, so I'm really grateful for her taking the time out to contribute an original short story to this anthology.
I'll be back soon with more updates on other writers featured, as well as details of the artists who will feature their work in this anthology, including MASER.
We're at a stage in this funding campaign where it's going really well, but I still need a good push to get more people on board to fund it. So if there's anyone you know - or any organisations - who you think would be interested in lending a hand, please forward them the details of this project so we can get it made ASAP.
Again, I'm really grateful for all of your support.
