Arts Council England supports our Recovery Anthology

Dear supporters,

We will finally hold a copy of our anthology in our hands... I submitted an Arts Council application for A Wild and Precious Life Mentoring Programme, and heard last week that we were successful with our bid... This will enable us to mentor four of our writers, host three events (in London, Birmingham and Bristol) with readings and a panel discussion on the power of writing in recovery, and pay for the artistic costs of producing the book. It will not take us to our target, but it will be very close, and that final push will be so much easier.

Thank you for your patience. We took on a hard task raising the money to publish this book, but we have believed in it alll the way and our contributors and supporters have been crucial in helpiing us reach this point. We couldn't have done it without you.

We're back on the road again. Watch this space!

Until soon, Lily

Such terrific news. Congrats to everyone for all the hard work, faith and tenacity. Paticularly to Lily Dunn for not taking No for an answer from the Arts Council!
