Almost a third the way there

Dear supporters,

We've had a flurry of interest in our project recently... a number of pledges, which brings us to 30% funded. This is very exciting, as I can send off our Arts Council bid once we hit 40%. We've also had some good press. An interview with me about the power of writing in recovery, on a site concerned with alcohol awareness, https://www.alcoholconcern.org.uk/Blog/writing-your-way-to-recovery and just today, a local Bristol news and culture site has featured us on their books page, an interview about the project and my recent move to Bristol https://www.bristol247.com/culture/books/recovery-anthology-crowdfunded-publisher-good-immigrant/

Please read and share.

November is an exciting month. We're hoping to do a reading and social event in London at Houseman's bookshop. We'll let you know the date once confirmed. We'll also be recording a conversation for BBC Radio 4 The Listening Project between me and Susie, one of our original (and very talented) writers from the Hackney Recovery Service.

Thank you again for your belief in and support of this important book.

Warm wishes, Lily
