And the “best in show” prize goes to…

Pup culture knowledge was tested. Beers were pawed. Tales were told and tails were wagged. A fair few [dog] puns were used, and you, the audience, made our first ever virtual pup quiz totally pawesome. And we’re now over 90% of the way towards our funding target!

That’s right, thanks to all you lovely folk, our virtual “pup” quiz was a lot of fun – and it was absolutely fantastic to see so many people (and, perhaps more importantly, their dogs) getting involved and following along.

(Above we have Beau, from Team Labrador, tuning in for our 'Pup' Quiz)

We were particularly taken by the incredible paw-traits and artistic creations you all sent in during the arts round. In fact, we couldn’t resist sharing some of these here with you in this update.

(Here we have J Baker from 'Best in Show' with her creative homage to dog walking)

(Would it be a pub quiz without nuts? A pistachio-based contribution from Ponderous Poodles)

(Is it a sausage, is it a dog? It's on an envelope, that's for sure! From Lockdown is Ruff)

But now to the important business – we’re pleased to say that the official winners of the quiz were *Best in show*, with *Team Labrador* the runners up. Please give them a big digital round of appaws!

We hope everyone who joined had as much fun as we did, and that you’ll come away with the quiz with a deeper, more appreciative understanding of pup culture.

Remember - if you missed the live quiz; there’s no need to terrier-self up about it. You can watch the live recording via Youtube (either in the video above or directly using the link below)…

Thanks, as always, to every single one of you lovely folk for supporting our book. We’re now very much trying to clear the final hurdle (9% of our target at the time of writing), and we know we can do this with your help.

So please, send the link to our page to folks you know, and encourage them to pre-order a copy of the book for themselves, or perhaps sign up for one of our other rewards on offer.

Thank you, so much, as always, friends!
