Dearest book backers,

This is the first of what I’m sure will be many updates and many thank yous on the road to writing my book! They will no doubt become more sporadic, frantic and emotional as we go (so we’ve all got that to look forward to) but for now let’s enjoy this relatively calm and collected version of me.

As you may have noticed - I barely noticed of course and I definitely haven’t been checking this page every five minutes - the campaign is almost 70% funded after just two days! So my first thank you has to be for your immediate and overwhelming support and positivity about this project. You’ve actually managed to put my mind at ease, which I assure you is no mean feat.

Putting something this personal into the world, and onto the internet, was a terrifying prospect (if you’ve spent any amount of time in this world, or indeed on the internet, you’ll understand why) but I can rest assured now that I know you lovely lot have my back!

Whatever way you’ve chosen to support me, I promise I’ll do my best to make it worth your time and money. And in the meantime, please do check back here for updates and continue to spread the word about my book.
