Please can I appear in your living room?
Hello Dear Supporters.
Firstly, thank you to everyone who has signed up in the last couple of months. I am very grateful.
It is time to get this show back on the road.
Do you have a space in your home that fits 15 or more people? Would you like to host a very special, pop up musical event?
The idea is very simple; I come for free and perform an intimate song and story show in your living room/kitchen/shed and try to persuade your guests to sign up and help turn On The Road Not Taken into a book. You could provide drinks and snacks or ask people to bring their own. You could turn the event into an excuse for a party or give everyone camomille tea and send them home to bed. I play for about an hour and can tailor the content to the occasion. This could work well as a special event for book clubs and writing groups; in fact I tried this out with a book club in Bristol a few weeks ago and it turned into a wonderful evening.
I am looking for a maximum of 10 dates in September and October, so if the idea appeals to you & would like to know more then please get in touch via paul@writinglife.co.uk
Special thanks to Jay Armstrong for the photo.
