Launch Party and EP update!
Hello Dear Subscribers.
It is now a couple of months since the launch of On The Road Not Taken so I thought it was time for an update on what has been happening.
We had a fabulous night launching the book at The Thunderbolt in Bristol on Sept 7th. It was wonderful to look out from the stage and see family, friend and subscribers all together in one place. A big thank you to those people who travelled a long way for the event. If you have read the book you will know the role Fred Gregory Davies plays in the story, so it was great to have him on stage with me, supplying mandolin flourishes and wild solos. We ended the set with Wild Thing, the song that closed The Entangled Network gigs in the far distant days of youth clubs and old peoples homes.
Thank you to Penny Ingram for capturing the moment.
The book is going down well. I have been receiving very positive responses from readers and sightings have been reported in bookshops across the country. If you see one, please take a picture and send it to me.
Meanwhile the video for Poppy Song has now received over 2300 plays on Youtube.
Finally, my debut EP is now out in the world. I am going to write a separate post about this next week, but Fire In The Darkness is live on Spotify and almost all other streaming services.
If you listen to it online (or on CD, I can supply a copy if you ), please let me know what you think. You can listen via the link below.

Half an hour ago, a car with darkened glass pulled up next to me and the front window was slowly lowered. I thought it was the past catching up with me, but in fact it was somepone who wanted to tell me that Fire in The Darkness made them cry. How rock and roll is that?
All best
Paul
