New Pledge options for 'Notes From Africa'

Unbound have added two new Pledge options to my book page.

A Pledge for £50 includes a Super Patron paperback, an online copy of 'Notes From Africa' and the CD 'Xalima', a precious record of the beguiling music of Seydina Insa Wade (1948 – 2012). Often referred to as the Father of Senegalese Folk Music, Seydina's texts and melodies influenced all of his country’s major artists not least Youssou N’Dour, Baaba Maal, and Ismael Lo. Sung with humour and style in his native Wolof language, his songs are provocative, tender, inventive portraits of Senegalese life. Seydina's guests include ace guitarist Oumar Sow, the singer Souleymane Faye and keyboard wizards Philipe Rykiel and Frederick Rousseau,

A Pledge for £100 includes an offer from me to proofread, edit or offer advice on manuscripts written on music or the arts. With two books already published and features and reviews for the magazines Songlines, fRoots, Afropop and the website Culture Northern Ireland under my belt, I have more than a few tips up my sleeve.

We are sure we will reach our funding target soon. If my present supporters would kindly share my updated book page and encourage others to subscribe this will also hasten its publication. THANK YOU!
