Have you been anxiously awaiting news on Note to Boy's journey to publication? Well, here it is. I've received an already thrice-proofed PDF of the manuscript to check for a final, final, final, FINAL time. After that, the die is cast. 

I'm going to proof the hell out of it this weekend, in case any typos or other nasties have crept in, but otherwise, this is the version that will soon be going into production and then on to you, my lovely pledgers. It's also the version that will eventually be released to the bookshops and onto Amazon (other excellent booksellers are available) and out into the big, wide world. Quite a thought!

What's next? The cover design. I can't wait to see what Unbound's genius designer comes up with. I really have no idea what to expect. But, as you know, like Eloise I am easily pleased. All I want is a cover that's cheerful, classy, eye-popping, subtle, simple, complex, commercial, artistic and beautiful. That's not much to ask, is it?
