A present that's better than pants

Just look at those puppy dog eyes! This is a blatant appeal on behalf of a truly worthy cause. This Christmas, instead of novelty pants, fluffy slippers or handkerchiefs, why not give your friends and family the lasting pleasure of something wonderful to cuddle up with on the sofa. Yes, I'm talking about offering a forever home to an Unbound book on the 'still funding' list.

Through no fault of their own, these books are languishing in crowdfunding, awaiting rescue by you, generous readers. Without your help, they face the prospect of staying unpublished, unread and unloved. You can set them free. You can give them a chance of the life they deserve. All you have to do is to pledge for an Unbound book as a gift in someone else's name. So much better than a pants present!

Modesty prevents me from suggesting which deserving book you might like to give as a gift, but I'll just mention that my own 'still funding' novel, Note to Boy, is at 64%. Sincere thanks to all those lovely people who've already supported this comical literary mongrel.

Merry Christmas and thank you.

Please feel free to like, share, tweet and whatnot this.
