The Tub is Overdue a Thumping.
[I made this image on canva.com. All elements on book cover pd]
A first update (I definitely DID prefer it when I could call these Shed Posts) for almost two months: in that time 6 pledges were achieved. Just under one a week. At this rate it could take another two years for the crowd-funding target to be achieved. Of course, the turn of the year is always a slow time for any Unbound campaign... so there's that. Medical issues get in the way of making personal appearances to drum up support. I'm not at liberty to say what they are as they are not my own. Anyway, it just means I have been unable to bore people at local libraries and bookshops with a lecture on writing a novel and crowdfunding with Unbound. Still, there is light at the end of the tunnel and I really do hope to be able to do this after May. With pledges arriving at the same rate that should be 10 more received by then.
Anyway, to the few of you who are actually reading this and haven't despatched Unbound mails to Spam long ago, my apologies for the inordinate length of time it has taken to get even this far. Luckily, I haven't written a children's book so no-one is going to have outgrown it by the time they receive a copy.
In any event, I make my customary plea to all of you to persuade friends to invest in the future of Moffat by pledging. Do not, of course, lose friendhips over it!
All the best

Keep your spirits up Ewan. I am sure you will get there in the end. Perhaps there will be a trilogy? At least there is the 6 Nations to focus on.
