Well they say no news is good news, and in this case that is undoubtedly true.

A few short weeks after I confidently announced that No Good Deed would appear in September 2020, Unbound have informed me due to the Coronavirus - (what? Catastrophe? Plague? Punishment from God? Retribution for allowing Trump into power in the States) whatever you want to name it - No Good Deed's publication date is postponed until January 2021. I appreciate that this means many you will have waited an inordinately long time for your copy of the book, but this time the faster attaining of the crowd-funding target which Gibbous achieved would have made a difference. Many will remember how long Gibbous House took to arrive in bookshops. Campaign began Jul 2014 - Funded Nov 2014 - Published  Jan 2017 . All being well, No Good Deed's path will look like this: Campaign Began Apr 2018 - funded July 2019 - Published Jan 2021. I only wish the delays to No Good Deed's arrival were for similar reasons to those which delayed Gibbous House's appearance.

Therefore, in the absence of the other nine plagues, you pledgers may get your book in time for Christmas.
My heartfelt apologies to all of you wonderful people who have backed Moffat for a second time.

No apologies required, Ewan. Just a shame for you (and us) that we have to wait a bit longer. No one's fault though. Thanks for letting us know.
