Hallooo, all Moffatarians, followers of the Malignant and Magniliquent Moffat. There is news! (Or, if you prefer, there are news, I know people is strange).

Around a month ago I despatched the manuscript of No Good Deed to Unbound. I was ecstatic to find that the editor assigned was Rachael Kerr, who managed to knock Gibbous House into better shape than I had any right to expect. So No Good Deed has undergone its first round of cosmetic surgery and it is on its way to becoming the beautiful thing you will all receive by post some time next year, all being well.

Some people hate this bit. Where you sort out all the mistakes any fule kno how to avoid when writing a novel.  I actually enjoy it, in a perverse kind of way. It always makes for a better book in the end. So then, I have work to do. Polishing a diamond rather than some fossilised dinosaur poo. I'll keep you posted as to how it goes.
