Mr. Beethoven

By Paul Griffiths

A novel by Paul Griffiths asking: What if Beethoven had visited America?

Mr. Beethoven Makes An Impression.

Most of you will already have your book. We are sorry that there remain some Artists' Books to be sent to supporters in EU countries. These are bound and await their covers; a slightly tricky process that involves gluing a cloth spine to the front and back.

Though we were obliged to become substitute teachers for most of the year, and lost many weeks due to illness, we have cleaned the studio, setting it right for an Autumn of quietly trimming, sewing and gluing until all books are in their homes.

Mr. Beethoven Goes To America

We also wanted to take this chance to celebrate what you helped make possible by supporting this book. On October 19th this year, Mr. Beethoven is republished by the esteemed NYRB books in the USA. On the same day an audiobook of Mr. Beethoven (Findaway) will be available on your devices. When you consider the shortlisting for the Goldsmiths Prize and longlisting for the Walter Scott Prize, what a success this book (now in its second impression) has been!

Thank you!
