Thanks. Progress. Prints.

We wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who has supported My Mother, the Bearded Lady so far. We are extremely grateful and it is heartwarming to see so many people helping to make this book a reality. Caroline Kington wanted to pass on her personal thanks to each and every one of you.
The book has had 58 pledges so far and acheived 36% of the funding it needs, which is pretty good and puts thing well on their way. The Super Patron level was snapped up quickly, as was the chance to own Miles' double bass, but the most popular level is the standard hardback, which is pretty much as expected.
A few people have opted to go for the art print, a limited edition poster of a cartoon of Miles by Arnold Roth. Arnold kindly signed 20 copies of this for Caroline last month and we thought you might like to see the cartoon. So here it is:
Once these have gone there won't be any more made. If you wanted to upgrade your pledge to make sure you get one then that is quite easy to do on the site, or email firstname.lastname@example.org and they can help you out.
Of course, your support at any level is vital to making this book a reality, so if you have time to spread the word and tell others about the project that would be wonderful. After all, we don't want to sit on your pledges for very long, we'd much rather be sending you a finished book. But you have already gone above and beyond the call of duty and we really want to thank you for that.
Here is the the link to share if you decide to do any tweeting or Facebooking or whatever people do these days:
Once we get a bit closer to the target, Scott (the Unbound editor for the book) will be travelling to Bath to help Caroline go through all the letters and select the ones for the final book, so we'll make sure to share some highlights from that process in the weeks and months ahead.
Anyway, thanks again. Your support has already gone a long way to bringing this book to life.
