old work space

This was my entrance and escape from St Andrews; the view from my old flat. I took this one late morning when I was meant to be writing. I love it. I love how the sea and sky share their blues and how the sun makes the horizon an illusion. I look at it every once in awhile, if I need a jolt back in time and space. If I need to be there. If there's a detail missing or forgotten or just out of reach, this photo is where I start the search for it. This, or one like it. There are a few I took when I was meant to be writing.

I just thought I'd share. It's a little bit of the process of writing. I finished a new draft of the book recently and am once again trying to raise funding to make it all worth while. So if you're reading this and haven't supported yet - please do. And if you have, well, thank you. You are, hyperbole aside, making a dream come true. Tell your friends. Or upgrade your level to something more amazing. Or just be satisfied that you've supported new writing and are making the world a better place.
