away for a bit
It's all a bit planes, trains, and automobiles at the moment, but in reverse order. Right now is the middle bit; the train. It's hurtling north and east of London, towards Stansted. From there I'll endure Ryanair to fly to Perpignan. It's harvest time, so I'm making the annual pilgrimage to make wine and avoid picking grapes at every opportunity. The days tend to run 12-15 hours, which doesn't leave a lot of time for writing, but I'm going to give it a shot.
I feel a lot better heading out with the book at 70%. I feel we're at the home stretch now. That it's going to happen. And it's going to happen because of all of you. So thank you. Thank you all so very much for all your help - for spreading the word and pledging. If you meet anyone who loves new literature - let them know. There's this crazy new book by this guy who writes and makes wine. He's making wine at the moment, but you can still fund his book while he's doing that.
