Workshop dates confirmed - and a few places left!
I've been combatting the change in the seasons by retreating further into imaginary worlds and planning the Finding & Keeping Folktales Writing Workshop. Here's a sneak peek inside my notebook so you can see how it's all shaping up... You can also find more details on the Featured Rewards link on the Unbound page.
The workshop will be online and interactive - probably on zoom, I'm just fine-tuning the real-world technical side of things!
However the dates are confirmed and we still have a few places left - details below. Each session will run from 10am to 5.30, with a few civilised breaks along the way. If this sounds like your kind of thing do book soon to avoid disappointment.
Hope to see you in the online classroom soon!
Friday November 13th: 2 places left
Friday November 27th: 2 places left
Friday December 4th: 1 place left

I've been thinking about this for a while, and this is the nudge I need to upgrade.

Damn. I can't do Fridays. Any other days available?

Hi Elizabeth,
I would absolutely love to do this but for the love of me I can't figure out how to book. I'm ashamed to admit that I can't even find the Featured Rewards page.

Hi Ruth,
I've booked you in for the 27th - and will be in touch soon with more information. Very much looking forward to it.

Hi Teresa,
Delighted that the nudge worked for you! Once you have booked in just drop me a line here re. which date would work best for you. They are all still currently available.

Hi Gail,
Don't worry, you aren't the only one. I have another interested supporter who also can't make any of these dates, so we're looking to launch another workshop in January 2020. You can register your interest now and I can put you on the list and then work out a convenient date.

Hi Georgia,
You should be able to find the link on the main page. But here it is again, below. You can just update your pledge. Any problems contact the Unbound support team and they will guide you through it. Once you have booked do drop me a line here to know which date works best for you.

Hello Elizabeth,
I've just upgraded my pledge to the Folktales Writing Workshop - I'm feeling a bit OhMyGoodness as I haven't done anything like this before. Can I book in for the 27th November, please? If the places have already been taken, I'm happy to go for the 4th December. Or even in January if you do another workshop then, as you say in one of your posts.
all the best, Annabel

Hi Annabel,
I'm so pleased you have taken the plunge - you're booked in for the 27th. There's nothing to be nervous about, it will be a really enjoyable day. Lots of discussion, some guided writing exercises - which you will be under no pressure to share if you don't want to. I'm really passionate about demystifying the writing process, and having a lot of fun along the way. I will be in touch nearer the time with more specific information too!

Hiya Elizabeth, I can't upgrade. It says the workshop has sold out. I would love to join one of these workshops if you do anymore or if you can squeeze me into any of the ones you've listed here. Lee x

Hi Lee,
Thanks so much for your support of the book and your interest in the workshop. You're not the only one who has asked. If supporters are keen to talk all things Folklore and Folk Tale then I'm equally keen to teach!
So rest assured we're in the process of opening up 1 more workshop for the New Year. I also have a student who has booked in and would like to change to New Year - so just bear with us for a day or two whilst we sort it all out.
You can also drop an email to support@unbound.com and, with your permission, they can pass on your email to me and I can contact you directly with dates and options.

Hi Elizabeth,
Are you still running any of these courses? A friend highly recommended them!

Hi Lydia,
Thanks so much for your interest - and so thrilled to know the workshop was recommended to you. Yes, I plan to run as many as there is a demand for. I'm in the process of sorting out a February date in fact, and have 1 place left. So do sign up if that appeals, and I will be in touch very soon.

No problem Lydia, and I will be in touch in the next couple of days with everyone who has signed up for the next workshop - we're looking at a February date, I will give options!
