Another milestone reached & a new reward launched!

I was absolutely thrilled to reach the 100 backers milestone over the weekend.  It's so encourgaing to have so many of you signed up already, thank you for all your generous support and belief in the project, it's hugely appreciated!

I also have exciting news... As a result of  specific requests, we have put together a new featured reward: the Bespoke Bookclub.  It's a tailormade evening, where I will come and talk to your book group/ writing group and share the creative and research journey of LOST & FOUND.  I'll bring my notebooks with me - see the attached photos for a glimpse into how I got started with JOHNNIE HE NOT, the featured excerpt on site. You can see the process of writing myself into the story and all the crossing-out and head-scratching that came with it! You can also get further hints of how the tale develops, if you hadn't worked it out already...

Practicalities...  It's limited to 6 people per group, so it will be a cosy and personal evening.  I will come to you, and you can send questions beforehand so we can focus on the aspects of the book that interest you.  The cost per person works out at just under £67. This includes the signed book and bookplate and also covers my travel costs.  There are more details on the page, under featured rewards. Unfortunately, I have to limit this to the UK only.

If you would like to update your pledge to this offer then it's very simple: there's an option on your account dashboard next to your pledge details - there's a salmon pink box that says 'upgrade or donate'.

Please don't feel under any obligation at all to do this!  However, as the offer is limited to 15 sessions I wanted to offer any of you who have book groups/ writing groups who might enjoy the evening the opportunity to pick up on this before they get snapped up - and of course, it would be lovely to meet some of you in person.

Well done on getting to the first 100! As someone who's been there before on two Unbound books I know how hard it can be. Really looking forward to seeing the end product - another Unbound book with prints in it - it's the way forward in my view!

Unbound did a super job with my translation of Gawain and the Green Knight and I'm really looking forward to King Arthur emerging as part of this exciting trend!

Kind regards

Thanks so much for your kind words Michael! It's really good to hear from someone who has been through the process.

I loved your Gawain and the Green Knight and I couldn't agree more - the prints are such an essential part of the book. I love the 'call and response' between text and traditional illustration, and how they combine to be more than a sum of their parts. I am so delighted to be working with the super-talented Phoebe Connolly on this project!

Very best wishes
Elizabeth
