ACE news!!

Hello everyone

It is with utter joy that I can finally announce that development of ‘Like an Orange’ will be funded by the Arts Council National Lottery Fund! My application this time round was successfu!

I am over the moon that over the course of the next year, I will be able to dedicate most of my working time to further research, writing and drawing. There is also a fair amount of public engagement involved in my activities around production, so do look out for any workshops and presentations that you be interested in coming along to. The idea is to glean feedback from the public on works-in-progress, build audience development, and engage in a dialogue around the subject matter of brain injury where and when I can. I will of course post about any upcoming events here.

The campaign will still need to reach its goal - as you know, the monies for Unbound are to cover marketing and printing costs. So any further retweeting would never go amiss!

Thank you all for you support thus far. It’s been a slog trying to get that funding, but this campaign and the part you have all played in it has certainly kept me going. I’d like to extend a big shout out to the Arts Council too for making so many projects possible. I am thrilled to be part it!

More updates soon,

Wallis
