Shirley- Meandering

Hello lovely supporters,

A much overdue update on all that’s been happening. It probably appears as if everything has come to a grinding halt on my memoir. However, events in my professional life will hopefully serve the greater good of making my life story all the more exciting and devoid of cliche.

I have been illustrating a three part story by Richard Dinnick for Titan Comics “Doctor Who”. Part One came out this week and I am delighted that my work will reach a mass audience thanks to collaborating with brilliant people on this popular licensed cult classic. I am now working on part three for the August edition.

The “Life Under Lights” part of my life has been taken up with acting in the exhilarating new play, “Shirleymander” about Dame Shirley Porter, the disgraced Tory councillor who rose to fame in the Eighties. We’re in the last week of our month run at The Playground theatre in West London. It is a barnstorming role and I was pleasantly surprised to be nominated for the Off West End Best Actress award for my performance. What an honour.

Laurels can’t be rested on and I shall be back at my drawing board for this project in a week or so.

More news very soon!
