soonOn July 25th, “Life Drawing. A Life Under Lights” was officially published. So now with the help of word of mouth, favourable reviews, a miraculous appearance on “Graham Norton” ( a joke... I’m not appearing but who says it can’t happen eventually?), with all those things aligning, my little graphic acorn could grow into a tree.
Meanwhile, there is much to be grateful for. Since my last update, I have been lucky enough to have been a special guest at the Big Finish day convention where I had a queue of visitors looking to get their BF CDs signed and buy copies of Life Drawing.
The next convention adventure was in St Albans. I was seated next to Sue Holderness from “Only Fools and Horses” and Karen Dotrice who played Jane Banks in the original “Mary Poppins” film, pictured here with three of my books which will be sitting on her bookshelf in Hollywood!
And my most recent opportunity to sell Life Drawing was my three day guest appearance at the London Film and Comic Con where I had the chance to meet some of the lovely supporters who pledged when I was a guest in 2017. You know who you are!
After all that high octane activity, it was a welcome relief to have a week’s total relaxation in Halkidiki with my family.
I was delighted to see that I have seven 5 star reviews on Amazon. It would be amazing if any of you who have had a chance to read the book and have enjoyed it, could add a short review and rating when you get a minute. Apparently, the amount of good reviews can change the destiny of a book from outlier to bestseller. The ultimate future of the book is out of my hands, but I can but ask! And if there’s anything I can do to reciprocate, you can ask me too!
I’ll be back here soon with news of more exciting events relating to the book.
Thank you for stopping by. Have a wonderful August!
