An update on a blackboard
Since I last wrote I have:
- Consumed 1.5kg of wood sage honey
- Read one book on plant pollinator interactions
- Started two books on British bees
- Re-read three books by Derek Jarman
- Lost six hours to Rightmove looking for my 'Prospect Cottage'
- Planted 1000 pollinator friendly bulbs
- Spotted my first bumblebee queen of the season
- Germinated 11 bee bee tree seeds
- Raised nine bee bee seedlings
- Disposed of one slug who ate the other two
AND
- Written 9677 words
- Which required 82 cups of tea.

Good-luck with the Bee Bee tree (tetradium danielli). We donated a few saplings (grown from seed collected at a well known RHS garden) to our local "Eco-garden" . They look very much like ash when young so I hope an enthusiastic volunteer doesn't pull them out :-)

Lisa, the wood sage honey comes from Steve, he sells it on his website, I believe.
Adrian, I haven't, but have just ordered it. Thanks for the suggestion!

Why are we waiting? I pledged support for this book nearly two years ago, last year we were promised an Autumn publication, a year later, still no book. Getting more than a bit disillusioned here. You seem to have been busy doing a great deal apart from fulfilling your side of the contract we entered into in October 2013.
