Exciting things are happening with The Secret Life of LEGO® Bricks! After months of review and work the text has been approved by the LEGO Group. This is a huge milestone but we still have a little more work to do.
In order to tell some of the really cool stories I learned about licensed products we have to get the approval of various partners. They have to give permission for us to include images of their intellectual property too. However, we have not been idle while waiting on those approvals. Sample layouts, colour selections, illustrations, fonts, and more are all being put together so that we can move as quickly as possible when the lights all turn green. Experiencing this process first-hand has given me new respect for how much coordination and work goes on behind the scenes to bring LEGO products to life.
All this attention to detail means that the delivery date for the books is later than we originally wanted it to be, and while we can’t give an precise date when it will be out for delivery, we just wanted you to know where we were at.
We will keep you posted as this process comes to the finish line!

I can’t tell you how excited I am about this book. It’s even better than waiting for any new Lego product; believe it or not! The second I get my hands on it will be the second I take annual leave to read it. Even more excited is that my name will be in it!! I have to remind myself to breathe. :)

Thanks for the update! Glad you are including licensed sets in the book, even if that is delaying publication due to licensing concerns. Hopefully the approvals go quick enough. Can’t wait to get my hands on the book! Thanks again!

It says there is a new private update, but I can not see it even though I purchased the book. Is there anyway to fix this? I see that it says publication Winter 2022, but can’t see the update. Thanks for any help.
