Time Is Tight...

...to get your name listed as a supporter and published in Laurie Cunningham's upcoming biography Different Class. The deadline is (dramatically) MIDNIGHT this Sunday, 12th March. If you haven't already pledged or think it would make a good present for somebody you know please think about buying a copy. The book is published in July and would appeal to anyone who likes 1970's musio, fashion and football. Music by James Brown and Gil Scott-Heron and Ronnie Scott's nightclub provide the backdrop. Demob suits, gangster hats and two-tone shoes feature as does the memorable el clasico game where Barcelona fans turned on their own players and began to cheer the 'English trickster' playing in the all white strip of their most hated rivals Real Madrid instead.

Today is Laurie Cunninham's birthday by the way. He would have been 61 years old, so there is another reason, if you needed one, to salute him by reading his incredible story.
