LAURIE CUNNINGHAM - 101% PROOF

'Different Class' is now fully funded. In fact it is one percent past full, according to the totaliser. I found out last week-end and was hoping it would get to the finishing line after going on to talkSport radio on the Thursday beforehand to talk about it. I was invited on to the Hawksbee and Jacobs afternoon show and arrived early so as to rehearse everything I needed to say, such as accurate dates and correct URL's. On arrival I was asked to wait in the 'green room'. I have never been in to a green room before, but have heard it referred to by actors on tv talk shows, so felt quite glamorous and excited to be invited into such a sacred place. You can imagine my disappointment then when I was ushered into a kitchenette where a woman was loading a dishwasher and I sat opposite somebody eating out of an enormous cardboard noodle pot, roughly the size of a child's seaside bucket, as a man behind me muttered somethinmg to himself while holding a plastic kettle. I didn't have time to rehearse any winning lines as I was called into the studio straight away to start my seven minutes or so of glory. By the way pledges can still be made to the book so please share if you want to, it might help fund more pictures or extra copies of the book.

Anyway, the interview is attached.  Thanks again to everyone who has supported the book.
