David Attenborough on Huw Wheldon
David Attenborough on Huw Wheldon: "His presence... was certainly both audible and visible. His laugh - famously loud and unmistakable - echoed round that huge and labyrinthine building [Television Centre]. And he was seen everywhere in it - in the corridors and in the conference rooms, in the canteen, where he chose to eat rather than in the more select senior staff dining room, and, for a few minutes most evenings, in each of its eight studios."
