Over half way there!

Hello Supporters!

Very exciting news: this weekend we hit 51% funding. We are now over halfway towards publication, just over three months since we started the crowdfunding campaign on 8 February. As promised, I have been on a marketing blitz recently to promote the book. In case you missed it, here are the latest three pieces that were published about the expedition:

  1. Polo's Bastards: "These are the dangers of kayaking the Kwanza": Disease, crocs, hippos, waterfalls and humans all discussed in this article for my favourite adventure travel website. I have been writing for these guys for eleven years now!
  2. All Things Risk Podcast: "Episode 78: Oscar Scafidi": An in-depth discussion with host Ben Cattaneo about the expedition and the planning that went into it.
  3. The Armchair Mountaineer: "The Impact of a big adventure": A shorter piece, discussing the personal and wider impacts of the expedition.

There is plenty more in the pipeline, including a podcast interview on The ROAR Show and an article on Explorers Web. Watch this space!

What can you do to help?

Please like, comment and share our Tweets and Facebook posts widely! Also, please suggest our book to any friends or family who you think might enjoy it. The e-book is available for only £10 if you are worried about postage costs! Remember that we will be donating 25% of the profits to help with The HALO Trust's mine clearance work in Angola. Together, we can help make Angola landmine free by 2025.

Thanks again,
