Thanks to all your pledges, we're now on the home straight at 86%! Now is the perfect chance to upgrade your pledge, and make the most of the special offers that you won't find anywhere else!
1. Have your name immortalized in the biological record! I have collected a few new species in the past, and they're all sitting in the Natural History Museum collections waiting to be named. Could your name be the one ranked amongst the great naturalists, such as Darwin and Wallace? The answer is yes! Upgrade to the level and get *10 limited edition prints* for free, usually worth £250!
2. Have you ever wanted to learn watercolour, or how to draw animals in a realistic way? In my illustration class you will go beyond that, and learn to use a wide range of media together in a way you never though was possible. There are very few principles in traditional art, but those are rarely taught in an intuitive manner and often confine a person's creativity rather than liberating it. I truly believe that anyone with an interest in art will find this lesson extremely rewarding, as you will learn to melt down the boundaries between different media and gain full control over them. The session will be 3 hours long, and all art materials will be provided on the day. Now reduced to £120 along with the hardback book!
3. Have you ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes at the Natural History Museum? How many species are there on this planet, and how do we know if the one we've found is new? A tour of the new Cocoon area does just that, giving you a fascinating insight into the explorers, collectors and scientists that have helped to compile the largest natural history collection in the world. I am also happy to do tours of other sections of the museum, and finally we can have long talks about nature in the cafeteria ... a must for the nature geeks!
4. Own a limited edition print of one of the illustrations! You can see the full range on my website www.junglegems.tk. Some of the more popular ones (like the squirrel and the Spanish fly) are running out quickly, so make sure to get yours soon!
Thank you for your support, and please help spread the word to all art/nature enthusiasts!
All the best,
