Welcome to my shed

A huge thank you for supporting "The Half Life Of Joshua Jones". Writing can be a lonely, isolating experience and it is a source of great encouragement to know that you are there with me.
Like many of you I am just getting my head round this whole new Unbound experience. Until recently I was a luddite when it came to social media. I was a late-adopter but always admired people like Stephen Fry who jumped on board twitter right from the beginning and amassed huge following as it became more popular. By joining Unbound now I feel like I'm at the beginning of something which is going to grow and grow quickly and I want to surf that wave from the start. It feels a bit risky but I'm determined to make it work because it is a model I really believe in. Through your support of this process you are going to radically change the way books are sold and even written. And much for the better.
So what can you expect to find in my shed? Well, I plan to give you unprecedented access to stuff readers wouldn't normally get when they buy a book on Amazon or in a shop. First of all I will be posting videos about the book - little vignettes - most of which involve me prancing around cemeteries and woods telling stories from the book (without giving anything away, of course). You will also see a video of when I when I was given special access to one of the biggest caves in the UK by way of research. Yes, Joshua Jones goes down a big cave but I had to go down it first!
I will also post other random stuff to entertain you. But it's not going to come all at once. Bit by bit. Little by little. I want you to keep coming back here to discover little treasures.
To start you off this is the FULL LENGTH book trailer. The trailer on the site is approx 2 minutes long this one is 4 minutes long and the second half of the trailer will be new to you. It tells you more about what kind of book it is and why I was inspired to write it.
