You should have your books!
Hello and Happy Thursday to Everyone!
I'm hoping that Island Life Sentence has been delivered to all of your doors! (Please let me know if you haven't received it yet). Thank you so much my lovely subscribers! This has been a group effort and I'm so very grateful to you.
In my opinion, the writing of the book is the easiest part. It's the uncertain path the book takes after it leaves the safe cocoon of the Google Doc home that causes angst. You all have taken a huge part of that stress away! The knowledge of your support really makes a huge difference along the way.
Crowdfunding is a new platform for backing the arts. It allows the artist to concentrate wholly on the project itself instead of worrying if the project will ever see the light of day. You've given me so much more confidence in this phase of the book's life.
Thanks you again from the bottom of my sweaty, hot heart. XOXO Carrie
