Autumn creative beginnings

Dear supporters,

Hello, I hope you and your loved ones have weathered the pandemic and shift to autumn safe and well. I’m sorry it’s been some time since my last update for Into the Mouth of the Lion. However I’d like to reassure you that while many things in publishing were delayed due to COVID, the publication of the novel is still going ahead in early 2021. As soon as I have a more specific date, I will share it with you.

In these months, we have been working on the final text and typesetting, and I am told that a cover reveal should happen soon. Very exciting! I can’t wait to get the book into your hands and to connect with readers all over the world.

In other creative writing news, I have published two short stories in recent months. They are light-hearted pieces: one is about friendship made during the pandemic, and the other is about the end of summer after lockdown, from an unusual perspective. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I did writing them.

I hope to have more to share with you soon, building up to the release of Into the Mouth of the Lion in early 2021.

With all my best wishes,

Amelia
