Innocents to the Slaughter
Hi everyone,
A month has gone by during which time I have received the edited version of this second novel in the Hudson and Lawes Trilogy. I've just finished working through it - taking on board some very helpful comments and advice from the Unbound editor. It's a great experience having one's novel edited professionally and I keep learning. It's amazing how many silly little mistakes slip by when I'm proof reading. The trick is to put it on a 150 view and go through it word by word. You'd be surprised what comes up!. The other thing is time-scales - getting dates coordinated. My advice to anyone setting out to write a novel with dates included is to set up a time-line and keep track. Otherwise - that way madness lies...
I don't think it will be too long before the finished article is launched into the world. I hope you enjoy it.
