1. B-52 Stratofortress - More details about it and why it is still lethal in this era of the fifth-generation fighters.
2. SR-71 Blackbird - More details about it and some details of its covert and secret missions that are still unheard of.

How about airborne artillery? From the mosquito 57mm anti ship cannon to the Hercules gunships?
I would reckon there’s been some terrible attempts with other aircraft.

Typical day of operations with the RAF Voyager. Stuff like facts, stories (if you're able to get any) and other stuff like that. I'm completely obsessed with the A330MRTT.

The wartime career of the Gloster Gladiator. From the small amount of info I have been able to find it saw much more action than the defence of Malta

The F-16I Sufa of the Israeli Air Force. Story and interview about the craziest and most capable version of the F-16. For example: it took part in a raid to destroy a top secret Syrian nuclear plant build by North Korea! Not only did it successfully destroy it but it also evaded Syrian, Russian and Turkish air defenses. For years it was kept secret by everyone!

A bit off the wall - but I am reading a book about Midway (Shattered Sword - the untold story of Midway by Parshall and Tully) which challenges a lot of "now taken as read" perspectives from both sides on the most decisive naval battle of the war. One statistic dropped in during the build up which I frankly found staggering - was that Japan were only able to manufacture 57 carrier attack aircraft in the whole of 1942.....they lost more than that at Coral Sea alone!!? Given the doctrinal reliance on carriers for projecting strategic strength I wondered whether there was room in this book for a section which:
1) highlights instances where domestic effort was completely unaligned with strategic military doctrine? and/or
2) highlights surprising statistics! I could not believe how low that number was (nor am I sure how I could further fact check it!!!).
PS For what its worth the book is excellent - very technical. But an excellent and very informative read.

A special around the most succesfull american aircraft: F-14 / F-15/ F-16 and F/18. Those are the fighters we grew up with. Otherwise, keep the same context of the book. Loved the first one!

Blackburn Dart/Swift...post First World War singe seat torpedo bomber. Sold to and operated by Japan (and evaluated by US Navy). My Grandad was in the RAF when the Dart was in service. His assessment was that it was the most inappropriately named aeroplane...it was neither dart-like nor swift. However, it holds the distinction of making the first night-time landing on an aircraft carrier.
Was it Blackburn's last single seat torpedo bomber until the Firebrand?

Transavia PL-12 Airtruk! This quickly little sesquiplane caught my attention in Mad Max: Beyond the Thunderdome and I just think it’s neat.
