The eternal year
Hello as we head towards the end of a seemingly eternal and frankly bloody awful year.
I know that for many of us, the past few months have brought profound challenges and personal loss. I hope you are getting though these times.
In the grand scheme of things, our book which you so kindly supported a good while ago, may not hold great importance. Nevertheless, I wanted to update you and thank you for your patience.
It is now clear that Mark (in the US) and I (in The Netherlands) are highly unlikely to be able to spend time together to work through the final draft of the book. So the final stages will need to happen remotely. On a project that is deeply personal, this is far from ideal. I hope you can understand that giving fixed deadlines is just not possible right now. I will send you a further update when we get into January whether or not we are able to give a more tangible update.
As ever, do feel free to contact me directly if you wish at firstname.lastname@example.org
In the meantime, thank you again for having faith in the project and for your kind support.
With best wishes
