Happy Family
By James Ellis
Sometimes, for one’s own sanity, it’s best to rip up an entire life and start again. The question is: whose life? And who does the ripping?

It's really real
Hello and happy new year (is it too late to say that? I'm never sure of the cut-off date). As I hope you've been told by Unbound, your copy of Happy Family (and your other pledge fulfilments) should be with you in the next couple of weeks. So it's real. You made it real.
The official publication date is February 6th but even so, it already has a presence on Waterstones, Blackwells and so on. Which brings me to another favour. When you get your copy of the book, and if you have the time, would you tweet or instagram or facebook a picture of you with the book using the hashtag #HappyFamily? And even better, would you mind leaving a short review on either Goodreads or Amazon (or any of the online bookstores)? It all helps.
My most pressing task now, along with Unbound, is to arrange the book launches and blog tours. I hope you will be able to come to a launch so I can thank you personally for all your support over the last 18 months (or more). I will let you know the details when I have them. You can always find me and follow me on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
Happy reading,
James.
