A Restored Earth: my first Shed post

Dear All,

My first Shed post, a week or so since the project went live.

It's been an exciting start: the book is now 26% funded, with 43 kind and generous contributions from a wide variety of supporters from around the world, and the number growing by the day.

The plan is to continue spreading the word with enthusiasm, so please do share news of the book as widely as you can among friends, family, organizations and networks.  I am truly grateful for any and all support.

In parallel to the crowd-funding effort, I am of course busy pulling together the book itself.  The plan is to have a first draft ready by Christmas.  There is so much to do and so much good material.

I have a month ahead of interviews, including an Ethiopian farmer, a Colombian anthropologist, a Director of Greenpeace, a member of the House of Lords, and an American environmentalist who walked with Martin Luther King.  But above all, it will be a month of writing and of consolidation.

I'll keep in touch and would welcome thoughts, comments, questions and suggestions.  Do feel free to write to me: edwardleodavey@gmail.com

All good wishes, and thank you again so much for all your support,

Edward
