Firstly, a big thanks to everyone for pledging your support to Grafity's Wall.
This project's been stewing in our heads for a while and it's great to get started on it. When Lizzie, the editor at Unbound, came to us and said she'd love to pick it up, we jumped at it. For me, it's the perfect project to crowdfund.
I crowdfunded Black Mumba in 2016 which was my first Mumbai based book. And a lot of the reviews for the book said it brought something new to comics. A fresh voice from a new place that serves to highlight the commonalities we have as people by being set against new and unfamiliar surroundings. I believe stories are the way we connect as people, whole societies and cultures having conversations with eachother.
So welcome to another Mumbai story. I'm inviting you to come have a look at my home :) Black Mumba was dark and grim. Grafity's Wall is bright and colourful and embraces Mumbai in all it's glorious madness.
So thank you for helping to make this happen! And I hope you enjoy the ride. We've got some really cool things to share with you. Anand, Irma, Aditya and I are all excited to bring this book to life.
You can help make this book happen. Please share it, and encourage your followers to share it, too.
