Tony Hancock Sitcom Script Competition Winner
It seems that everyone wants to own a piece of comedy history as I had lots of entries for the Vacant Lot competition. There are only five of these highly sought-after signed script pages in existence: one will shortly be on its way to the competition winner; I'm keeping one for myself (because I deserve it!); and the remaining three have now been added as new Glarnies, Green Berets & Goons pledging rewards.
The anagram solutions were as follows:
1. BLEARY DUCHY = CHURDLEY BAY
2. SEE A MATCH = EAST CHEAM
3. WAGTAIL SCRUTINY = RAILWAY CUTTINGS
4. PALACE GENE QUEST = QUEENS GATE PLACE
5. HAD OUR ATOMS = SOUTHAM ROAD
And the winner is *drum roll*...
Thanks to all of you who entered and congratulations to Glyn!
Glarnies, Green Berets & Goons has just hit 40% of its funding total and I'd like to send my heartfelt thanks to you all for your support. It would be fabulous if we could make it to 50% (or even 100%!) by the end of the year so please tell all your friends about the book, shout about it on social media and don't forget the Christmas gift certificates that are now available, details here.
