It's All In The Mind Virtual Launch Highlights

Hello everyone,

For those of you who were unable to attend the virtual launch of It's All In The Mind on Saturday, here are some of the highlights: readings, pictures and a Lockdown Lurgi Audio Production!

  • Actor and Voice-Over Artist Richard Usher reads from chapter 15 of It's All In The Mind. In this extract Larry is in Akyab (now Sittwe) with No. 5 Commando in 1945:

Larry took this picture of Spike in 1953 during a day out in Regent's Park in London:

  • Bodyguard, Vera and Elizabeth Is Missing actress Linda Hargreaves reads from chapter 18. This extract describes how Tony Hancock introduced Larry to the Goon crowd:

A sketch by Larry of a 'Training School for Comics'

In It's All In The Mind I talk about a piece of artwork Larry produced called 'The Fighting Milligans of India - A Panorama'. Well, this is what it looks like!

The day rounded off with a special Lockdown Lurgi Audio Production written and produced by Dave Freak of the Birmingham Comedy Festival, featuring an excerpt from one of the Vacant Lot performances. If I've done this right, you should be able to listen to it by clicking the picture at the top of the page!

Stay safe everyone,

Julie x
